Este año la Academia entregó premios de una manera justa en una divertida ceremonia que definitivamente ha mejorado con respecto a los 2 últimos años. Pensaba que no habría nada nuevo en unos premios con una aparente agenda a seguir, pero lo hubo, la gran sorpresa fue el premio a mejor película para Crash y como mejor director Ang Lee por Brokeback Mountain lo cual se veía venir.
